“ Hong Kong Banjum offers a comforting and flavorful experience with its Korean-Chinese dishes. I ordered the jajjang rice with egg omelette and a small jjambbong, and overall, it was a satisfying meal. The jajjang rice had a rich, savory black bean sauce that paired well with the fluffy omelette. The portion was generous, and the dish was well-prepared. The jjambbong had a nice level of spice and came with a good mix of seafood and vegetables, though the broth was slightly saltier than I prefer. Service was quick and attentive. The staff made sure the table was set properly, and the food came out hot and fresh. Even with a busy lunch crowd, everything moved efficiently. The ambience is casual and clean, with a no-frills setup that focuses on the food. It's a good spot for a quick and hearty meal, though not the kind of place you'd linger for too long. Hong Kong Banjum is a solid choice for Korean-Chinese comfort food. While the flavors are satisfying, some dishes could use a bit more balance. Still, I'd come back to try more items from the menu. ”
“ One of the better HK Banjum locations in the area with easy ambiance and fast food preparations. Food is on par with what you'd get from any HK Banjum and self-service is expected as well. ”
“ This place has great food as always and friendly staff to help you with your order ! I always enjoy eating here and the plentiful sitting options are a bonus. Great place to also enjoy some desserts after your meal as well. ”
“ No fuss, quick and easy when you want a simple bowl of jjajang or jjambbong. Quick service, serve and bus yourself. Feels like a little cafeteria inside, outside seating available as well. ”
“ This restaurant is a casual dining area serving Korean-Chinese meals such as JjaJjang Myeon (Black Bean Noodles), Jjambbong (Seafood Noodles), and Ttangsuyuk (Sweet and Sour Pork). They also have other dishes that are variations of the three. The meals are prepaid at a reasonable price and come out quickly. They have an open kitchen concept where you can see the chefs work the wok. What we ordered: JJAJJANGMYEON and TTANGSUYUK - Ordering two items allowed us to share the dish in two. I asked for an extra to transfer half into another bowl. They use oil, black bean paste, meat, and vegetables on a searing wok to create the sauce. It is then transferred on top of a tangy noodle. The Sweet and Sour Pork comes fried with the sauce on the side. Some prefer to pour the sauce on top while I dip it into the sauce. Depending on your personality, this topic can be debatable. Would I come back? Yes, for the price and the speedy service. ”
“ It's been a while here to have our fave noodles. Today is Saturday so there was no more parking in the mall, packed everywhere. I ordered two stir fried noodles w seafoods, new menu chili Shrimps. Everything is great but the chili shrimps are pretty spicy. Burned even my tongue. Wow!! Spicy and sweet! However the shrimps are huge and fresh. Love both noodles and shrimps. I asked the cashier to go containers and I noticed they charge $0.50 plus tax per small bowl container. This is crazy to pay for the leftover container. Anyway we had new experiences today and we will order the small portion next time. Do not order lots of foods! The self service is ok but it takes lots of time to pick up the order. Patience!!! And the service is not friendly. Pros Price: $ to $$ affordable Food quality: 4 stars, some noodles are 4 stars but spicy seafood noodles are 3 stars, pork sweet n sour 3 stars. Cons Service: 1 star, unfriendly Self service: all self, order and pick up, get the drinks, put the tray back and clean the table. ”
“ Today is hot like Summer weather but I decided to have Chinese Korean noodles. It was way long line to wait and pick up the meals during lunch time. However, the stir fried noodles w seafood and chili shrimps are so good. They added lots of squids, shrimps, and beef, veggies. Give the perfect balance. For chili shrimps, so spicy but sweet to me. I got so surprised about big shrimps. The self service is unconvinient, but the noodles are great. They have big outdoor patio area shared w other restaurants. Pros Price: affordable Food quality: 4 stars Cons Service: 1 star, like fast food restaurant ambiance feeling Ambiance: not cozy To go box: charge 0.50 plus tax We had lots of leftover and paid for the small bowl container. ”
